Microneedling is safe for most skin types and promotes care-free healing to address acne scars, fine lines, and wrinkles. It can also be used to decrease the appearance of stretch marks. It's a fast and safe method that initiates the production of collagen and elastin in your skin.

While multiple sessions are typically recommended to achieve optimal results depending on your specific goals, noticeable changes can be seen just one week after treatment and gradually improve as the body’s healing process begins.

Meet SkinStylus Microneedling

You may have noticed, but with DRVN Aesthetics, Kelly only uses the best of the best. So why is the FDA Cleared SkinStylus microneedling device one of Kelly’s favs? It provides millions of micro channels per treatment. This mechanical creation of microchannels avoids the use of heat, thermal energy, or chemicals and virtually eliminates post-treatment sensitivity and downtime while achieving spectacular results. Additionally, these microchannels allow large topical molecules that normally cannot penetrate the skin, to pass through the microchannels and help beautify the skin. This highly effective treatment can reduce signs of aging and enhance your skin’s overall appearance.

Microneedling + HA

COST: $375

The fantastic thing about our bodies is that they have natural processes that react to injury by producing new cells and extracellular materials (like elastin and collagen) to heal. Microneedling initiates this natural process with a finely-tuned Microneedling pen by creating hundreds of temporary micro-sized openings in your skin. These small openings are created with a disposable needle cartridge, which achieves results without thermal energy or chemicals applied to the skin. Six sessions are required for optimal results.

Recommended for wrinkles, acne scarring, enlarged pores, stretch marks, tone, and texture.

+ Add-on Dermaplaning for $75

*Dermaplaning is not recommended for active acne.

Microneedling + Stem Cells

COST: $425

Microneedling + stem cells accelerate healing and provide advanced results.

AnteAGE MD Growth Factor Solution contains pro-healing, anti-inflammatory growth factors and cytokines derived from laboratory culture of human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells, the specialized cells that science has determined function as “command and control” of healing in all injured tissues. Synthesized human TGF-B3 is added to reduce inflammation further and promote less fibrotic, more fetal-like healing. Hyaluronic acid provides lubrication and is a powerful humectant that promotes rapid rehydration and volume enhancement within the upper layers of the skin. AnteAGE MD products contain no cells or cell remnants. Six sessions are required for optimal results.

Recommended for anyone who wants advanced results with expedited healing time.

+ Add-on Dermaplaning for $75

*Dermaplaning is not recommended for active acne.

Microneedling + Stem Cell Brightening

COST: $450

Microneedling + stem cells brightening brightens the skin and accelerates healing time.

AnteAGE MD® Brightening Solution contains the same powerful rejuvenating growth factors and cytokines as our classic Growth Factor Solution with an added boost of Tranexamic Acid and other melanin synthesis-blocking actives. Our unique brightening treatment corrects uneven skin tone and encourages a naturally lighter complexion.

Formulated to attack eight different pigmentation pathways, our AnteAGE MD® Brightening Microneedling Solution is the only product on the market to effectively brighten and target discoloration at the cellular level without drying, irritation, or inflammation. Six sessions are required for optimal results.

Recommended for hyperpigmentation, melasma, or brightening skin tone.

+ Add-on Dermaplaning for $75

*Dermaplaning is not recommended for active acne.

Microneedling + Exosomes

COST: $550

Microneedling + Exosomes improves results and accelerates healing time.

The AnteAGE MDX® Exosome Solution is a highly concentrated exosome treatment solution for topical use in combination with microneedling. This hybrid exosome cocktail, derived from human bone marrow stem cells and human umbilical cord stem cells, strikes the ideal balance between potency and stability, resulting in a powerful, potent, ultra-pure exosome treatment solution unlike any other.

AnteAGE MDX® Exsome Solution combines the exosomes of two cell types, producing the maximum beneficial effects from two different stem cells within a single exosome treatment. Just as the natural exosomes in your body communicate with one another to regulate your biological processes, the exosomes applied topically instruct your cells to increase skin fitness, reduce redness, improve skin texture, enhance skin tone, and decrease general signs of aging naturally.

THE SCIENCE: Exosomes are responsible for cell-to-cell communication. Our serum unlocks your cells to send in vitamins, minerals, stem cells, growth factors, peptides, and more through exosome microneedling. This leads to faster healing time, plus even more stimulation and regeneration of collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for skin structure. Increasing collagen and elastin gives your skin a more plump, youthful appearance. Six sessions are required for optimal results.

Recommended for expedited healing time, scarring, hyperpigmentation, melasma, or brightening skin tone.

+ Add-on Dermaplaning for $75

*Dermaplaning is not recommended for active acne.

5 THINGS TO DO AFTER YOUR FACIAL 1. Hydrate When it comes to your skin, hydration is the key to pretty much everything. On any given day, hydration helps your skin cells function effectively; it helps you flush out toxins and leaves you with glowing skin. While a good facial will leave your skin feeling deeply moisturized, you’ll want to keep it going by drinking about two liters of water daily. 2. Moisturize If your facial includes exfoliation, remember that means the layer of dead skin cells is being removed from the surface of your skin — and along with it, the natural oils that usually protect your skin. So, in addition to hydrating your skin by drinking plenty of water after your facial, you should also use a gentle moisturizer to replenish and lock in that moisture. If you’re looking for a moisturizer to help keep your skin hydrated after a facial (and every day in general). 3. Be Gentle Following deep cleansing, extractions, and exfoliation, your skin may be a bit sensitive after a facial. For that reason, it’s important to stick to gentle cleansers (and you might want to skip the toners for a few days, too). After a deep cleaning, harsh skincare products are unnecessary, not to mention they can likely exacerbate any minor irritation. Furthermore, when washing your face in the days following a facial, you should use lukewarm water and pat dry. 4. Use a Clean Pillow Case and Fresh Towels A facial deep cleans your pores leaving them open and exposed, so make sure you’re using a clean pillowcase so dirt and oil don’t clog pores when you sleep. The same goes for towels or anything else that might come in direct contact with your face for an extended period of time. 5. Follow Your Esthetician’s Instructions and Advice Depending on the type of facial you get and the unique characteristics of your skin, your aesthetician will provide instructions, including what to do after your facial. Additionally, your aesthetician may provide recommendations, including specific products to incorporate into your skincare routine or lifestyle tips to help you achieve your skincare goals. 4 THINGS TO AVOID AFTER YOUR FACIAL 1. Picking at Your Skin While refraining from picking at your skin is essentially skincare 101, never is this more important than in the days immediately following your facial. If you’ve ever had a facial, then you know what happens within the next two to three days. Your skin will begin to purge. As your skin expedites its recovery, it pushes everything to the surface, and the end result is a healthy mix of whiteheads, pimples, and even blackheads. While it can be a bit maddening, rest assured that it’s a good sign. The important thing to remember is that under no circumstances should you pick at your face after a facial. Doing so can lead to further irritation and even scarring. 2. Wearing Makeup “Can you wear makeup after a facial?” This question seems to pop up repeatedly, and the answer to that is, “Ideally, no.” Immediately following a facial, it’s probably best to stay away from your makeup (at least for 24 hours). Again, remember anything you apply to your face can irritate your skin and lead to a breakout. This is particularly true for makeup and the tools you use (including your fingers) for its application because they tend to harbor healthy doses of bacteria. Needless to say, you don’t want that setting up shop in your pores. Moreover, when you forego your makeup for a short stretch, serums and moisturizers have a little breathing room of their own to do their magic. If you absolutely have to use makeup for an important event, make sure to clean your brushes or applicators first. 3. The Gym After a facial, your skin needs a minute to calm and repair itself. So, it may be best to skip the workout for a day or two, as sweat and other pollutants can cause or worsen irritation. You certainly wouldn’t want any sweat to make its way into those freshly cleaned pores. 4. The Sun Freshly exfoliated skin is decidedly more vulnerable to harmful UV rays. So, after-facial care requires a conscious effort on your part to stay out of the sun. That’s not to say that you should avoid going outdoors altogether, but extended periods of time in direct sunlight is not the best move. If you are using Retinol or retinoids as part of your skincare routine, minimizing sun exposure is crucial, and at the very least, always apply SPF before leaving the house.
